Smile for Dr Solomon Guramatunhu
“I am so excited! In Nyazura, the village that I grew up in, we have just built a state of the art library and an ICT centre for the school. This will have a huge effect on the community. The children will start computers in Grade One and their parents will come and learn in the evening. I am very optimistic about Zimbabwe and its people. I think its going to work. This country is going to work.” – Dr Solomon Guramatunhu

Dr Guramatunhu is Chairman and founder of Eyes For Africa – a charitable foundation which conducts up to 5, 000 free eye operations for disadvantaged peoples each year. He is the Chairman of Bindura University of Science Education, Chairman of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Chairman and founder of Newpark Eye Centre and Optimum Africa. Dr Guramtunhu obtained his undergraduate medical degrees from the University of Zimbabwe and postgraduate qualifications in ophthalmology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Bad Rabbit Studio would like to take this opportunity to wish Dr Solomon a very happy 62nd birthday! We wish you many more years of happiness and wellness. Thank you for inspiring generations of Zimbabweans to strive for success and do so with such grace and humility.
